In Green Bay, the job goes to whoever answers the phone.

Three systems that answer the call you missed, follow up on the lead you have not read yet, and ask for the review you keep forgetting to ask for.

What a missed call actually costs on the east side

Brown County has no shortage of plumbers, roofers and HVAC companies, so nobody waits. A homeowner in Astor with water coming through a kitchen ceiling works down the numbers Google shows them and stops at whoever picks up. The two companies that did not answer never find out they were in the running.

Nobody loses those calls by being lazy. You were on a roof in Preble, under a truck, or sitting on Military Avenue at 4:45 on a Friday. The phone rang at the one moment you could not reach it, and the job went to somebody who happened to be standing still.

Green Bay’s housing stock generates its own emergency calls

The near east side and the streets around Whitney Park are full of houses built before 1940. Cast iron stacks, galvanized supply lines, and wiring that somebody partially updated decades ago. Out through Howard and Suamico the builds are newer, so the calls skew toward water heaters at end of life, AC units that quit in the first real heat, and ice dams on shallow-pitch roofs.

The houses are different and the call is the same. It comes in when you cannot take it, on a day when every other phone in your trade is ringing too.

Winter compresses a year of urgency into a few weeks

A furnace that quits in January turns into a homeowner calling down a list until somebody says yes, tonight. Nobody is scheduling anything. The week after a wind event works the same way, when every roofer between Bellevue and Suamico is booked solid and people are dialing anyone with a ladder rack.

Those weeks decide the year, and they are the weeks you have the least time to answer a phone.

What gets installed

Three systems, put in together and tuned to how you already run:

  • Missed Call Text-Back. Any call you do not answer gets a text within seconds, written in your voice, asking what they need. The customer stays in your thread instead of dialing the next result.
  • Speed to Lead. Form fills and emails get a real written reply in under five minutes, then keep following up until the person answers or tells you no.
  • AI Review Requests. When a job is marked done, the customer gets asked for a Google review. No remembering, no awkward phone call a week later.

That last one matters more in Green Bay than owners expect. When somebody searches for a trade here, the map results come up before anything else, and review count and recency are a large part of what decides the order. Companies that ask every customer pull ahead of better companies that never get around to asking.

Packers home weekends are a real scheduling problem

On home game weekends, moving a van from the east side toward Ashwaubenon is not worth attempting, and you already know that. Customers do not. They call anyway, and the ones who get silence assume you are closed.

A text that goes out on its own keeps that lead alive until Monday morning. You are not committing to anything and you are not driving anywhere. You have not disappeared on somebody for two days.

Do you have to come to Green Bay to install it?

No. It runs on the phone number already on your truck and the tools you already use, and almost all of the setup happens without me standing in your shop. De Pere to Green Bay is about a ten minute drive if you would rather do the first conversation face to face. Plenty of owners do. Nothing about the system requires it.

Work in the area

Backyard Brew in Ashwaubenon is the closest example to look at. It is a live site built from scratch, owner-editable, no page builder and no monthly platform fee. The same approach applies whether the business is a bar or a heating company.

What it costs

The full Suite is $1,000 to install and $400 a month. Month to month after the setup fee. If you stop, the systems turn off and you keep your number and your customer history.

One recovered emergency call a month covers the cost of it. Whether you miss that many is something you can work out faster than I can.

Questions owners here ask.

Do you work with Green Bay businesses outside the city limits?

Yes. Allouez, Bellevue, Howard, Suamico, Ashwaubenon and Hobart are the same install, and most Green Bay trades already work all of them.

How fast can it be running?

Usually under a week from the day you say go. Most of that is waiting on carrier registration for the texting number, not on me.

Ten minutes on the phone and you will know if this fits.
